Candle Care Tips for Best Performance
First Burn Matters: For an even melt and to prevent tunneling, let your candle burn for at least 4 hours during the first use—until the wax reaches the edges of the container.
Wax Behavior: Our coconut-apricot wax may leave a slight hang-up on the glass initially—this is normal and usually evens out after a few burns.
Wick Maintenance: Before each burn [after the first], trim the wick to 1/4" to ensure a clean, even flame and reduce soot. Hold the candle upside down over a trash bin while trimming to prevent debris from falling into the wax.
Ongoing Use: After the first burn, limit each session to 3–4 hours to maintain performance and prevent overheating.
General Candle Safety
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep candles away from drafts, flammable materials, pets, and children.
Always burn your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the jar.
Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings, matches, and any other debris.
