Candle Care
First Burn & Wax Behavior: For best results, allow your candle to burn for at least 4 hours on the first use. Coconut-apricot wax may take several burns to develop a fully even melt pool. This is normal and does not affect the candle’s performance.
Wick Care: Our wicks are largely self-trimming and require minimal maintenance. After the initial burn, trim the wick to approximately ⅓ inch if needed, or remove any mushrooming once the wax has fully cooled. Hold the candle upside down over a trash bin while trimming to help prevent debris from falling into the wax.
Recommended Burn Time: After the first burn, limit each burn to approximately 3–4 hours to maintain performance and prevent the vessel from overheating.
Candle Safety
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets.Always burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, and other debris.
- Do not move or handle the candle while burning or while the wax is hot.
- Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.
