Candle Care Tips for Best Performance
First Burn & Wax Behavior: For the best results, allow your candle to burn for at least 4 hours on the first use. Coconut-apricot wax may take several burns to form a fully even melt pool—this is normal and part of the wax’s natural character.
Wick Maintenance: These wicks are largely self-trimming and require minimal care. Before each burn (after the initial 4-hour burn), trim to 1/3" if the wick appears longer, or remove a mushroom if present—always after the wax has fully cooled. Hold the candle upside down over a trash bin while trimming to prevent debris from falling into the wax. This simple step helps maintain a clean, even flame and reduces soot.
Recommended Burn Time: After the first burn, limit each session to 3–4 hours to maintain performance and prevent overheating.
General Candle Safety
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep candles away from drafts, flammable materials, pets, and children.
Always burn your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the jar.
Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings, matches, and any other debris.
